Marmorea is a discovery of ancient Italian marbles: Carrara, Nero Marquinia, Biancone, Botticino, Rosso Verona, Verde Alpi, and Bardiglio. As with ancient marbles, careful attention is given to the softness of the material and its aesthetic effect. The surface is slightly “wavy” to add depth and realism, and with its matte, silky finish, its colors come to life remarkably when installed, especially in carefully considered contrasting combinations.
