Palladiana

Palladiana – Italian tradition reinterpreted by Studiopepe

Designed by Studiopepe for Ceramica Bardelli, Palladiana offers a contemporary reinterpretation of the ancient Opus Incertum technique, transforming the irregular arrangement of materials and fragments into a new ceramic language.

Micro-patterns, varying textural perceptions, and subtle color nuances coexist within a through-body colored porcelain stoneware surface. The color palette—a central element of Studiopepe’s design—combines delicate tones, midtones, and earthy shades intended to harmonize with architecture and furnishings without overpowering them.

The matte, textured finish enhances the tactile quality of the different sections of the surface. Available in 60×60 cm and 60×120 cm sizes, Palladiana comes in six different patterns that create a constantly varied and natural composition, allowing for continuity between floor and wall tiles.

A fusion of Italian decorative tradition, color research, and contemporary design culture, recognized in 2017 with the Archiproducts Design Award in the Finishing category.
